How can we help students to learn and to have a healthy and sportive lifestyle, showing them the different ways to get it with theory at class and also in a practical way?
Who are us?
Hi! I’m Alba and I’m going to explain a little bit why I believe that Physical Education is as such essential for the well development of the children. Since I was young, I was keen on doing any sport as I was quite fidgety. Despite of I’d been practicing swimming (my favorite) for a long time, last year I’d to leave it because of working and it was so hard for me. Nowadays, I feel that there’s still something missing in my life. So, for this main reason I think that every kid should have the chance to move, swim, jump, run, enjoy freely, discover, know how to be autonomous and develop teamwork, being self-confident, find his/her own limitations, experimenting things from his/her body as well as of their surroundings with vividness at every instant of life.
Lastly, I utterly consider that with a subject like Physical Education pupils could achieve these issues with incentive (provided that they are willing and interesting in it). That is, they grow not only as a person but also physically, and, at the same time, they learn how to have a healthy and sportive lifestyle in a different way of what they are used to.

My name's Aina, I'm 23 and I'm a retired dancer. Classical dance used to be all my life. Everyday I felt the need of taking my pointy shoes and practice hours and hours, due to the physical activity made me feel better, not only in a physical mean, also in a psychical one. I think that our responsibility as a future teachers is to provide the best for each child, in all ways. We all know the importance of a good preparation in Maths or Language, but what about sport? It helps us to keep fit, to make our healthy get better, to increase our self esteem and to stimulate our mental processes. Another important point that we should consider is the alimentation. Nothing of what I've said have importance if we don't care about what we eat everyday, and for that is really important to teach the children about it too. For that, I agree with my colleagues about this project, because we want to remark an important item that not everybody gives it the importance that it has.
I'm María Clotilde. I’m a lover of nature and sport I spend so much time practising sport not because I am a soocer player and I play football very usually, but also because I like so much to discover new sports and play it like paddle tennis, badminton or cycling among others.
In my view educated from sport is amazing and you can get the unexpected from a child introducing sport in his or her life, because it’s not only related with your body but also with your healthy and your behaviour, knowing how to work in group and how to drive your emotions individually.
Why Physical Education?
We have chosen this subject because, first of all, the methodology of it let us work in some aspects of children's life that normally we cannot work at school.
On the one hand, P.E helps children to develop the capacities and the abilities of their bodies. Simultaneously, students can improve the communication through their bodies and also the acceptation of them.
On the other hand, P.E let kids learn how the sport develop their knowledge, get their anatomical functionality better as well as picking their physical and psychological health up, strengthen their self esteem and compensate for sedentary lifestyle. So, sport and movement not only educate their bodies, but also form their character and personality.
Finally, Physical Education allows us have in consideration every individual child, not all of them as a group, and we can adapt their learning depending on their capacities and needs. Therefore, we think that it would be appropriate to mix sport and alimentation in their every-day-lifestyle. And, as a result of all, this subject will be more dynamic and we can relate concepts with practise.

And why have we chosen this topic?
The reason about why we have chosen the topic “Healthy and sportive lifestyle” is because nowadays there are appearing more cases about physical disorders in our body that not only can affect us physically, but also it can probably affect in our behaviour or our mood.
Therefore, we indeed think that is clearly a problem, which has to be solved as much earlier as possible due to the importance that it currently has in our society.
As far as we have been concerned about the topic, we decided to start looking for a different ways to solve it. Personally and from our own position as future teachers, we have though that it would be a great idea to moves this controversial topic to our "students" so that they will be aware of the importance of having a healthy and sportive lifestyle in an early age. At the same time, we provide them with some tools in order to they can avoid and prevent the problem by themselves at once that they are learning a lot of things about their bodies.
